Author and photographer Roslyn Banish gives both face and voice to 62 individuals who have either experienced an abortion themselves or through someone they love or have treated. The storytellers in Focus on Abortion come

 from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, different regions and are of varied ages, but they each touch on the complex circumstances leading to the difficult decision to end a pregnancy. Banish has published a number of books and has exhibited her works in England and the United States
