NCJW Sacramento is honored to present this unique opportunity: “Obstruction of Justice: A Conversation with Jill Wine-Banks” author, MSNBC legal analyst and Watergate prosecutor on Tuesday, July 28. She will speak about today’s danger to our system of justice, the parallels to the Watergate scandal, and sexism then and now.

Jill was the first woman to serve in the criminal investigations division of the Justice Department, the only woman Watergate prosecutor and whose interrogation of Nixon’s secretary led to Nixon’s resignation, was the first woman to be General Council to the Army, the first solicitor general of Illinois, and the first woman to be COO of the American Bar Association.
Jill Wine-Banks is the role model of a woman who turns progressive ideals into action. She truly acts to safeguard individual rights and freedoms.
